DAY 01

Arrive at San Pedro Sula, we will meet you at the airport and drive you to your hotel, overnight at San Pedro Sula.

DAY 02

Today we will have a half day tour of San Pedro Sula, known as the industrial capital of Honduras, a modern bustling city that treasures its rich history and tradition of the banana emporium era, a tour of a banana plantation and packing station as well as commercial and residential areas are included along with a visit to the local artisans market; in the afternoon, just one hour away from San Pedro Sula, on the Caribbean coast, we will visit the old fortress of Omoa, built by the Spanish conquerors during the seventeenth century to defend themselves from British pirate attacks, after a guided tour of the fort and museum, we will drive to a local sea side hotel to relax and enjoy the afternoon at the beach returning to San Pedro Sula late afternoon.

DAY 03

At 8:00 AM, we will take a 2 1/2 hour drive through the beautiful country side of western Honduras, to Copan Ruinas; upon arrival, we will have a guided tour of the main archaeological site that features the hieroglyphic staircase, the ball court and the famous stelas; in the afternoon, learn about the various artifacts and art work carved in stone at the Museum of Maya sculpture and the Museum of Archaeology, where you will see a recreation of the Rosalila Temple in the tunnels; you will be back to San Pedro Sula later in the evening.

DAY 04

At 7:30 AM, we will travel across the great Sula valley through sugar cane plantations and cattle ranches until we reach Rio Lindo were we will visit Pulhapanzak, a beautiful white water cascade that falls into a tropical canyon, then, we continue through the coffee plantations of Canaveral and Pena Blanca to arrive at Lake Yojoa just in time for lunch and to admire the scenic view and peaceful natural surroundings. Later we will continue our trip to Taulabe to explore these enigmatic natural caves, we will return to San Pedro Sula arriving late afternoon.

DAY 05

At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport to catch your international departure flight.
