At 8:00 AM, we depart for the Maya Ruins of Copan to arrive around noon, in the afternoon, we will have a guided tour of the main archaeological site that features the hieroglyphic staircase, the ball court and the famous stelas; overnight at Copan.
In the morning, learn about the various artifacts and art work carved in stone at the Museum of Maya sculpture and the Museum of Archaeology, where you will see a recreation of the Rosalila Temple in the tunnels; in the afternoon, we will have a close encounter with the quarters of the royal families at “Las Sepulturas” site, we will end our Copan visit with a tour of the Macaw Mountain Bird park, evening is at your disposal to stroll around the cobble stoned streets of the town of Copan and visit its numerous restaurants, coffee and souvenir shops, overnight at Copan.
At 8:00 AM, we will be on our way to the port town of La Ceiba, known as the eco adventure hub in Honduras, in route we will enjoy a guided visit of Lancetilla Botanical park, a former research center founded by United Fruit where a large collection of plants and trees from all over the world can be seen, later, we will have lunch a sea side restaurant in Tela, continuing our trip afterwards to arrive at La Ceiba mid-afternoon, evening free, overnight at La Ceiba.
In the morning, we will enjoy a white water rafting adventure at Rio Cangrejal, later, enter Pico Bonito National Park and then hike through the various trails for natural observation and bird watching, we will end our tour with a refreshing dip at the crystal clear waters of a beautiful natural pool, evening is free, overnight at La Ceiba.
At 8:00 AM, we will transfer you to the La Ceiba’s dock to catch the 9:30 AM ferry to Roatan arriving at 10:45 AM, dock pick up and transfer to your hotel for your four night leisure stay at Roatan.
